Genesis Communities, Minneapolis, MN, 55404Visit@GenesisCommunities.org

Genesis Communities is a 501(c)(3) religious non-profit organization. We operate intentional Christian communities. While Genesis Communities may lease certain properties from private owners, the management and occupancy of these homes are conducted exclusively as an extension of our religious mission.

In accordance with the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3607(a)), Genesis Communities operates as a religious organization and provides communal housing for its members. We reserve the right to limit residency to individuals who are in active alignment with the Genesis Covenant and our religious purpose.

Occupancy in a Genesis-managed house is a programmatic benefit of membership in our program. It is not a traditional commercial tenancy. All Shared Contributions are pooled to cover the master lease, utilities, and missional hospitality. Continued residency is contingent upon active participation in our shared rhythms and ongoing adherence to our communal standards.
